Can I capture iOS devices (iPhone, iPad, iTouch) with Live Gamer HD 2?

Yes. When you connect iOS devices to LGHD2 please make sure to turn off HDCP detection in RECentral 3 settings. However note that even with HDCP detection off you won’t be able to record copyright protected content.
HDCP detection is turned on by default in RECentral 3 software, when you connect iOS device preview window will show blue/black screen with no signal.
In order to connect iOS device you will need official Apple Digital AV adapter.

To turn off “HDCP detection” in RECentral 3:
1. Start RECentral 3 and click Setting (gear) icon in the upper left corner of the screen
2. Click on Live Gamer HD 2 (capture device) and find the setting panel on the right side
3. Select “turn off HDCP detection”

Note: when connecting iOS device make sure to not plug earphone jack on the Apple device, this will block the capture.
